EastEnders preview: what's in store this week

Ronnie Mitchell managed to keep the birth of her own baby a secret for more than 20 years – but she’s not so tight-lipped about sister Roxy’s pregnancy. The nightclub owner lets the cat out of the bag when Sean and Jack fight outside R&R on Thursday and inadvertently send Roxy flying. “Oi!” Ronnie scolds them. “She’s pregnant.”

Both men look horrified by the news as each realises he could be the father. Later, Roxy tells Sean the baby’s his, prompting the ex soldier boy to call her a stupid tart. Charming! The dad-to-be’s mood doesn’t improve, and on Friday he embarks on another one of his lunatic rampages.

Over at the Rovers, Michelle is less than thrilled to discover boyfriend Steve has given brassy Leanne a job behind the bar. Given Leanne’s exploits with her brothers Paul and Liam, Michelle’s desperately hoping the randy miss will stick to pulling pints rather than punters.

Elsewhere, the house-swap negotiations between Claire and Sally hurtle towards a dramatic showdown as Sally starts to smell a rat, and the builders set about removing the infamous stone cladding from Molly and Tyrone’s house.
